Of course you should fly with your brother and gain whatever experience you can gleam from the experience. Log it if you like using any of the legal means available to you under the FARs; BUT, if you later try to get a job with an operator that doesn't have an issue with this logged time that you used on your resume - congratulations. If the employer turns you away for using this time on the resume, then chalk it up to a lost opportunity and don't get all mad at the employer for showing you the door. Risk and reward - - you make the call.
