There will be junior pilots, who either through furlough or by choice, move airline to airline, following the aircraft indefinately. They will never get a chance to accure seniority and upgrade.
I give the airline career one more year to improve, or show signs of improving. By improving I mean people hiring, upgrading, and not going bankrupt left and right laying people off. If not, I take my free ATP and bounce. Good luck to PNCL guys and gals.
