I don't mean to throw a wet blanket on this "grinch" parade but I watched the video. All pilots pictured seemed to be pretty normal, half-full types doing the job and explaining how newer technology will help a little more in the efficiency, planning and analysis of a given flight.

They were a little young compared to me, but hey, everyone's young compared to me...nor is everybody as miserable as this board tends to be. "Half-full" works best through most phases of life.
