Take a look at who requires types or what type ratings might be required by future employers. Southwest and the 737 are the only ones I know of and higher power is a great place to train. Some corporate operations also might take a type rated pilot but the 737 type rating or other airliner might scare them off. Lots of employers in corporate aviation but connections are the key.
