The 228s are operated under a 135 cert, the 328s are on a 121 cert. Payrate is the same on both (not sure what it is presently, it was $12/hr + $12k/yr base a year or so ago for new FOs), but the 228 guys fly a lot more than the 328 guys and thus make more money. The 228 guys are also home every night, where the 328 guys spend more time on the road, but less flying overall. On the 328, you'll make more during training than on the line.
As for mins, they have hired very low timers (250 TT, wet commercial) into the 228 but generally want 1000+ for the 328.
There is NO upgrade path to Vision's Boeings from the Dorniers.
