Quote: The ATP rule only applies to 121 airlines. Cape Air is 135 and you need your ATP to fly for them anyway.
Cape Air is 135 and 121.

Yeah the ATR's in Guam are 121. It's only 2 planes though so I don't think they'll have trouble staffing them. The 60 402's are part 135.

Quote: What kind of flying does the 228 do? Is it to all the Grand Canyon places in AZ and is there a training contract?
When I did 328Jet charters Vision was an NCAA competitor. I think they mostly used the 328 props and jets for teams and the 228 for Grand Canyon and short charters. Every now and then we were called at the last second to sub for them because they had a mechanical. At the time we had a plane in LAS alot so it was a pretty easy switch for UNLV. I remember the coach telling us Vision had sent a 228 once because a 328 went down and it was a very long flight back to LAS at 10,000 feet. Needless to say that's why they started calling us.

Anyone know what number to call or what is the procedure to jumpseat on one of their tours? Also can you bring another person for free? I believe we have reciprocal jumpseat with Vision. Or am I thinking about Grand Canyon Tours out of Bullhead?

You might be thinking of Scenic Airlines out of boulder city. They have agreements with most.

Those at Vision may know who I'm talking about... I remember Billy and Steve when they operated out an old dusty hangar at Sky Harbor (not PHX).
