Most places require a minimum of 1000 TPIC right? Keep in mind there are 1000's of regional CA's with a lot more than the minimum, who are trying to get out.
While being a SIM instructor will give you something to add to your resume, it doesn't really help you if you don't meet the minimum qualifications.
Not all places require 1000 TPIC (Delta, United, Spirit, Virgin), however everywhere prefers Instruct
or/CA.
disclaimer: There are a few places that require the 1000 TPIC, Southwest and Fedex come to mind.
