Good on JLo for negotiating a good contract for himself. Now it's OUR turn. If we could just get our "leaders" out of the playground and doing their job!
Nobody makes it on their own, NOBODY. You "create your own future" in a society that all of us collectively contribute to, to give you those future opportunities.
We have the pay, benefits, etc because of
collective bargaining, not
individual bargaining. The whole "blame yourself" argument is pure bull$it.
