Cessna 172 to a Citation Mustang
I am a new member, but long time lurker on APC and figured this would be the perfect place for some input on a situation I'm in. A company wants to hire me on as a first officer in a citation mustang, but they dont want to pay for a type rating for 6 months until they know I'm a "good fit". In addition to working radios and the G1000 in the citation (non-type rated) I would have most non-flying duties as a chief pilot would. Baically when I'm not flying I will be working a 9-5 at the hanger. This is all part 91 and the pilot that is in the left seat is the owner. What kind of salary would I expect for being non-type rated in the beginning?
My qualifications are 1400hrs in various single engine trainers and about 20hrs multi. I meet 135 requirements.
