Anybody here have any thoughts on the Barska scope? In particular, the 6-24 x 60. Reviews are all over the place, but seem positive for the most part. I realize this scope falls into the "budget" category, which is what I'm on. I'm not willing to spend $2000+ for my $600 Remington 700. My rifle is currently fitted with a Leupold I 3-9 x 40. Scope is fine, but I'd like to look through something that can take me downrange with a bit more clarity.
Rifle is a Rem 700, .308. "Plaster" Choate stock on a Harris bipod. Will this cheapo scope keep it's zero after a few .308 rounds?
If this is a crap scope, please say so - I've always been a big believer in getting what you pay for.
Thanks for any info.
