Dear United Pilots:

Today I met with Continental MEC Chairman Captain Jay Pierce in the offices of our Washington, D.C. firm to give him a review of the Strategic Plan for securing a JCBA for our pilots. Following the briefing and discussion, a conference call was held with available members of the Continental MEC. We must now allow the CAL MEC governance process to work. Based on the briefing, presentation, discussion and questions, we are confident that soon we will be moving forward together as a unified team, striving to achieve success for all United pilots.

I will provide you with more information as it becomes available.
