You have to network at your local airports. There's gotta be something within driving range. When you go on XC, stop in, ask around, etc...
I never went 121, and I thought I would've, but a few good co tacts, and a little luck, I was sitting right seat on C421's and Be20's, mainly for experience, but I only logged the 91 legs. I was still full time as a CFI. Then I hit high enough time, that charter only seemed to hire their cfis, so I went home, and randomly got a job at a freight charter in my own backyard I didn't know about. Just keep your eyes open and really ask around.
