#3... is not so far fetched I know lots of guys at AE and S5 who have been there 15-20 years because they like their situation..... fairly decent pay, most likely LIVE in base... probably to 5-8 % of the seniority list so they bid and get what they want to fly..ie.. good QOL.
Or #4 is a possibility too. Go to regional A, work a year and get furloughed. Go to regional B, start at the bottom, take a pay cut, and work a year and get furloughed. Go to regional C, start at the bottom, take a pay cut work 2 years and get furloughed. Grand total earned for almost five years of flying at regionals, a little over $70,000. Your chances of making it to a legacy are very slim.
