Just keepin 'em honest. To the OP, how long your career at a regional depends on just how crappy your management ethics and practices are. They may at any time buy a non-union carrier and grow them at the expense of your union carrier. It happened to Pinnacle with Colgan, mesaba with bigsky, etc. You'll get to see that non-union carrier grow, their pilots getting their time and moving on to majors while you are left behind as a 5th+ year FO with no movement in sight. Sorry, but that's the bitter picture. Only a lucky few get out without turbine PIC, but the majority are stuck.
