The reason internships are competitive is because they work. Internships have helped me with my career. They allow you to get hired with reduced minimums. What is not making you competitive? Maybe you can create an internship with a company where there is not an agreement with Embry-Riddle. One thing is for sure, bribing people will get you nowhere in this industry.
