Definately don't agree with that. You NEED to come prepared, but the shorter ground school results in reduced standards more than increased difficulty. I did PDT as a 700 hour CFI and didn't think it was any harder than doing SKYW with 121 expereince. If people are failing out it might be more of an indication of who they're hiring.
