Please don't take this as an attack but,.... you seem to have good handle on the fact that everything from pay work rules and pensions have been gutted but then you go on to say that you can get your experience then go to the legacy.

If we do not protect the pay and work rules there will be no legacy airline to go to. You yourself say you have put pressure on your family but the money is too good to leave your situatuion.

How then will it be better for anyone when the majors are forced to compete with the likes of Skybus and Virgin. Recent history has told us that the first thing management will attack is pay and benefits. Are you sure you want to work for a company whose mechanics get raises because minimum wage goes up. Whose rampers drive you, the one responsible into the fuel truck because someone with 60/90 vision was the only person they could get to take the job? When your FO's bread and butter job is at 7/11 and he calls off to make sure he can refill the coffee pot. Not me!

This has nothing to do with being a union member or non union member, if people want to make it better they the people have to make it better and stand up for something. If the company cannot get people in the classes or interviews they will have to raise the stadnards they are willing to pay.

$65,000 a year is a joke for any professional pilot, we have gone low enough. The time is now to "Take it Back!!!!!!"
