Initially I thought the 4/8.5/3/3 was a ridiculous amount for a 4 year contract. Then, I found out it was for 3, and in reality that pay would come to us within 2 1/2 years (Jan 1st, 2015). That's not bad at all. Then I looked at all of the sections, and saw improvement in almost all of them. The extra 76 seat RJs are not desirable, but raising our flying with the new planes coming in and permanently parking 148 50 seaters, while keeping a ratio of mainline vs DCI flying, makes it better. Throw in joint venture and codesshare protection, and the TA seems doable. Not great, but not bad enough to dismiss.
