As Slow and I went back and forth on last week, the information coming out about the 717 leases is that we are getting them from Boeing but assuming the duration. If this is in fact the case, the first one can start leaving in 2017 with the last ones leaving in 2024.
It is not in fact the case. Your premise is wrong.

The ratio as I described only guarantees today's block hr plan (with a slight, very slight varriance)and DCI shrinking as we go through the refleeting. After this is complete the ratio stays at 1.59-1. We are projected to be at 1.76-1.
You are being disingenous again.
You're right, it's not a 1-1 exchange. Delta gets 88 B717. DCI loses 218 50 seaters. DCI gains 70 76 seaters. Anyway you slice it DCI loses more than Delta gains.
If Delta parks mainline aircraft to get to the minimum block hours we will still have 30-40 additional aircraft on property. DCI will still be down 148.
It sure appears you're advocating for pilots not on the property. Those same pilots wouldn't have ANY protections under our current agreement. Again, you're worried about what "might" happen and not comparing it to where we actually are.

See above. Your premise is false.
There are downside protections in this TA that don't exist in our current agreement. 30-40 more airframes with downside protection is way better than what we currently have.
