Not that many flights so I did have to go up to work the day before my trip and come home the day after but there were RARELY ever commuters trying to get on so the jumpseat was always mine. In a year of commuting I never got bumped! AA crews were really friendly and really try their hardest to get all the non revs on. You can also take JetBlue from FLL - BOS and it was the same experience on them.

I do MIA - PHL often to see my gf and haven't had any problems with it either. That first flight on US Airways is almost always open.
