Some pilots are still frustrated about the changes in the Caribbean. But the senior guys got pay protected at their current level of compensation until the pay scale catches up with them. I would've liked to see everyone get pay protected down there, but I think the union is still working on that. There's been a lot of bumps in the road as they try to iron out the details of the CBA as far as interpretation goes, but so far the union has won just about everything they've asked for at the implementation meetings. Overall, I appreciate the value of working under the protection of a CBA, so I'm pretty happy. Personally the QOL has gotten better for me because they've increased the min guarantee, and starting doing things like Sick Call shifts, so I can spend them at home instead of in the crew room.
