Get rid of the misdemeanor, spend money if you have to.

Slow down. Cops will rarely pull you over for less than 10 over...and essentially never for 5 over (their radar guns are not accurate enough +/- a few mph).

Don't lie if the airlines ask 5 or 10 years back...if you lie and they find out your career is over, cuz you will have been fired from a 121 airline for lying and there's no way to recover from that.
