Remind me again how the Delta TA created Delta jobs. 717 will replace dc-9 757 767 that are getting old. All of those work rule "improvements" that were voted in will further reduce the number of Delta jobs that are out there. I am bitter and I have every right to be. MD90's will replace some DC9's. B737-900ERs MAY replace some B757/767's and some older 320's. With 25 MD90's, 88 B717's, and 100 B737-900ERs(with 30 more options)coming over the next few years it's unlikely hiring will not happen. The B737-900ERs are cash flow positive from Day 1 which means they can easily be used as growth aircraft.
