I was looking to leave from the day I downgraded, but the Sept. 2010 announcement kicked the search into high gear.

I can understand the reluctance of senior captains (top 25%) to make a move, as anything would be a massive pay cut for them. I think they assumed that if they ever did downgrade, worst case they could be FOs indefinitely while they looked for a job.

But for junior captains and FOs to not be out there shaking the trees (or finishing up that degree) for the past two years, that I don't understand.
