All,

I have been reading about all the requirements to pursue a career with the airlines. But I am a little confused.

I have looked at three different Part 141 school's website and they each have their own "professional pilot career path" program.

However, of the three schools I have researched, only ATP includes CFI-Instrument & Multi in their price quotes. FlightSafety Academy and Aerosim do not.

So, are these two CFI ratings a requirement or just something that is nice to have?


I have googled for an answer but have frustratingly ended up empty handed. Seems like something that would be so easy to find out.
