Serves as second in commend on Visual Flight Edit and obstacle verification missions and is responsible for the safe operation of the aircraft. May serve as Aircraft Commander. Assists in the evaluation of the technical data collected on flight edit and obstacle data for the nation flight database.
Provides technical assistance and participates in the coordination with other organizational elements of the FAA, aviation industry, and military and foreign government personnel concerning various aspects of flight edit and obstacle verification missions.

Minimums are reduced at 1200 TT.
