UPS pilots are working more for a little more money.

UPS has used their scheduling computer to squeeze out more productivity. We are working more for more money or in other words... we are carrying more pieces and/or weight per plane and/or pilot. If not, others must be carrying it.

UPS pilots have a Frankenstein jumpseat matrix that threatens to screw up FDX's system. It has reversed a previous FAA letter of interpretation that we were going to get until we decided to negotiate captain's authority. The IPA has single handed reduced captains authority. .....great

UPS pilots.... ya we got an industry leading contract... by default in some ways and by hard work in others.

UPS pilots were given a sample bid package to see how the 2006 rules worked, but later found out that the sample package did not represent what the company could really do. It was not binding for the Company. It was fluff and a sham.

Today.... hoping lessons have been learned, egos contained and things are better in the negotiations.... but we are pilots <g>
This is disgustingly accurate .
