If the hiring needs at the majors weren't as they are currently expected, 9E could, very well, be on the chopping block too. If, IF the hiring needs continue, that might be able to buy them more years but eventually, you are correct. There will be a time when the seniority list will be too expensive to continue. Unfortunately, there were too many people in power that simply wanted Comair to be shut down.
