I love how the delta guys always freak out when they find this out. What do you mean no interview? They just get hired? Somehow these pilots aren't worthy of flying these customers at delta but its all good at delta connection.
Sorry bud, but at one point, a certain DCI carrier was basically handing out class dates, with no interviews, to graduates from certain colleges. So theoretically, according to your plan, a pilot could be at Delta without ever having been interviewed in life.
There are plenty of pilots at the regional level that should not have made it there, but the lack of warm bodies forced the hiring at regional carriers to relax on their own standards. The majors have not had this problem, because they have very limited jobs and a large applicant pool. So, they can pick and choose who they want from that large pool.
