You know full well your situation is in the extreme minority (probably hasn't happened in years, or else the main page of their website would most likely have a story about it), yet you praise ERAU based upon it. That makes no sense. You need to evaluate ERAU based on the opportunities most people leave there with.
I never expected a major job right out of school. I only attended there for 3 semesters, after having done most of the work at a community college, paying $11 a unit. I got out of there relatively unscathed.
Now read very carefully this time. I don't want to have to repeat it again:
ERAU's marketing propaganda would have you believe their aero sci program (yes, SPECIFICALLY their aero sci program) is THE best way to get into a pilot career. Many high school kids not knowing any better drink the Kool-Aid, and sign on the dotted line for a $100K+ loan, all for a degree that has no value. As others have already said here, ERAU is ripping them off. That's what I'm blaming them for.
