So I'm confused. Which is it? edit: Nevermind, I went back and re-read. Got it.

Regardless, I'm not sure which reason has merit. Seems to me an aviator should be able to cope with each, runway width be gosh-darned. Unfortunately it sounds like two guys had a bad day that no one wishes on anyone. (Now I'm knocking on wood) A strike can happen on any runway, no matter how wide or long it is.
