XJT has been stating it is a Super Regional Airline...with the help of skywest... Super Duper Regional Airline?

But to get to the point...when you have successfully merged three fairly large regional airlines, essentially, you stand a MUCH better chance of surviving this economic turn of barrels of $100 and Major/Legacy Mergers left and right...the coming discontinuing of nearly 67-87% of all 50 seaters by 2016...and if that wasn't enough...Delta's 717 leasing order AAANNNDD the ultra secret/random appearance of CJ9s on a coming pay scale in the next few years for Delta .

The theory is to become so large that even a Major/Legacy can't FORCEFULLY shove them to bankruptcy or closing of doors (IE 9E or comair).

Amen?
IIRC, the 76 seat payscale has been there for a while at Delta...
