Guys, this thing is what it is. There is no reason for the crewmembers to fight amongst each other. It's exactly what any management wants, a fractured group. If this thing fails, who knows exactly what will happen. No one on the MEC does but just as you, we can speculate. If this JCBA is voted in and we merge, upon completion of the SLI we will all be one. We will need to be COMPLETLY UNIFIED going into section 6 or once again the CO will give us nothing. The only strength we have will be our UNITY. Please stop throwing stones at each other. I know the ATI guys and they are GOOD GUYS. Great to fly with, fun to layover with and nice to be around for extended periods of time. We have our disagreements but like any other family, we fix it. I'm hoping the CCI people are the same way.
The JCBA is what we are voting on now. The MEC's have ZERO control of the SLI process. I have NO IDEA what it will look like when it's done. Both sides feel they bring things to the table. It's up to the guys in the room to hash it out or it goes to mediation then arbitration. When it's done, that's it.
Let's try to keep our eye on the ball and get through the JCBA vote first, then move on from there.
I hate it when pilots fight each other. We have a common foe, and it is not the guy sitting in the plane parked next to you. We are all better than this. If someone wants to come on here and spout lies, so be it. If you want facts and truth, call one or all of your reps, that’s why we are here. We always have time for you. We will also do everything we can to represent your interests. I will be in BAH from 9/12 to 9/25. Between flying and roadshows, I hope to spend as much time with as many of our crews as I can. Oh, and a little at Rocky’s too….
