Quote: Pinnacle has 41 CRJ-900's and a disposable management team. No assets isn't always a bad thing, especially when the ones they do have are probably leveraged through the roof. I don't buy into this, but we all know crazier things have happened. SkyWest could buy Pinnacle and only take on the 900's. Not sure where the pilots fit in. I want to say that a company can be bought in pieces when in bankruptcy if approved by the creditors, but I'm not 100% sure. Long shot, but SkyWest could buy Pinnacle, take on the 900's for Delta since they are Delta owned and put 41 of the SkyWest owned 900's on the American Eagle operation which I'm sure will expand exponentially in the future. Just a crazy speculation.
Wouldnt that be Chapter 7? Which I can see happening...
