Blue Care 1 will not be offered for 2013. Just the green, blue and orange plans.
Herk...we have the 1193 to thank for that. I've voted for ALPA twice here and will gladly do it again. Unfortunately, severe damage has now been done to my career (and to a greater extent for most other employees) via the new health care plans.
Very sad when they say that the current plans are "unsustainable", yet JB is paying cash for the terminal extension in JFK and making record profits so far this year.
I can remember David telling us why we didn't have to resign our seniority number when we came here. He said that working at JB would be so much better than where we came from (most new hires back then were furloughed from legacy carriers) that we wouldn't want to go back.
I resigned from my legacy 5 years ago and now regret that decision, even though I would be out on furlough (again) today.
