Another piece of advice would be to buddy up with a Guard or USAF Reservist. Ask them to pull you a copy of the most current UAL or CAL interview (There may have been a few before you get called in). The amount of information contained in those files is shocking to the uninformed. Examples include things like: "I interviewed with Mr Joe Doe, He asked me this ..........I answered saying........but I think it would have been better if I had said ........" Nuff said????
Remember this, Military Pilots are trained how to write detailed reports like bomb assessments and collateral damage assessments...and they are DARN good at it
