On a related subject ... I lowered my Optional Life Insurance assuming that I had until the Nov. 6th deadline to change it back (or change it to anything else for that matter). It turns out that is not the case. The very nice benefits lady I spoke with this morning (I called because I had several questions) told me that the Life Insurance benefit changes are immediate and changeable ANY time of year!*? How would we know that? It's on the same menu with all the other annual benefits changes?

She was nice enough to change it back to my previous selection and, in the end, I probably will lower my optional coverage to the lower amount ... but a word to the wise ... select carefully, your selection "might" not be undoable (is that a word?)
