I do not think the next generation wants to fly.

They are more into how computers interface with the airplane. Young people who take a look at the panel of my Cessna 150 are taken back at how primitive it is. I remember feeling the same when I took my first look inside the flight deck of an Aeronca Champ.

They would rather blow 7 grand on building an awesome flight simulator than to actually fly a plane. Even drivers licenses are down for teenagers. Why drive when all your friends are online anyway?
