Someone once said,"life's an adventure or it's nothing at all". That's the best part of flying--adventure. Seeing dawn over the Atlantic, watching the sunset in Australia. A month ago I was walking the battlefield at El Alamein; two weeks ago a French dinner in Quebec. Lots of memories and life that can't be found anywhere else.
