Yep, not long ago I caught a jumpseat on UAL to ORD. After landing, as I'm walking thru the terminal, I hear RUNNING behind me. It's the Captain. He says to me--just trying to be a good guy--that someone with my name is on the infamous "scab list". He also figured out I was too young to be that person. So he was just letting me know...for when it happens again, maybe years later, when the math may not be quite so apparent.
So I thanked the Captain, and learned something: I figure scabbing has about a 100 year shelf life minimum.
