Does anyone have a logical explanation as to why XJT says it's losing 30+ guys a month to CAL,SWA,ect while SkyWest is "only" losing 20 a month???
Although it is known that the XJT contract is better than SKW (although not by that much), they have 50% higher attrition. Seems weird...
The only logical explanation that I can come up with is that since CAL is has been hiring a lot, it makes a lot more sense for XJT'ers to jump ships since most of them already live at a CAL hub or are used to the commute. Therefore they would have an easier transition (no need to relocate/sell house/move the family/ect). On the other hand, SKW has more diverse domiciles, some of which are DAL/UAL hubs and since neither of these 2 legacies have been hiring, many CA prefer to stay at SKW.
Even considering the above factors, it's hard to explain this large difference in attrition... ANY IDEAS???
