If by any remote chance it isn't, and this story is real, then man I got words for that NWA captain.
Mesaba "suckers" aren't taking the jobs. It was NWA pilots who allowed to grandfather 36 Avros at Mesaba. It was Northwest pilots who relaxed scope after 9/11, and Northwest pilots who allowed a regional in house carrier to form, called Compass Airlines. Supposedly, it will be staffed by furloughed NWA pilots and then off the street hires. But the way things are going, NWA might recall everyone back before the E190s really come into play. WHo knows how it will play out.
One thing is for sure, it is NOT the Mesaba guy that's f#$king over NWA mainline pilots. It's your mainline management, and your own pilot group for relaxing scope.
Put blame at the true source of it all!
