Oh, you are apparently under a false assumption that Capital guys haven't also given 12 to 15 years of longevity and loyalty to ATSG companies. For the record Cappy was part of Capital Holdings and CAM before Capital Holdings bought ATI.
No see the way it works in bizarro world is the 12 year transplant from abx who's only been working at ATI for 2 years will be junior to the 2 year capital guy. So because the transplant makes a second check he makes more money than true ATI people and of course more than the capital person.
Now apparently the transplant feels he should carry 12 years of seniority from another carrier not even in the merger so he can be higher than the capital guys. It's kinda like saying I was 20 years at delta so I should have 20 year seniority here.
Remember this is all about being fair, fair to the transplant, screw everyone else.
