Okay lets get some items straight.
The 727 and DC8 will all go away. No if, no and and no but. They are all going away.
It is just the timeline that is fluid.
As for manipulation of the merger, what did you expect.
Both ATI and Cappy MEC's are way way to trusting. If managements lips are moving, they are either telling lies or manipulating the situation.
In this case trading expensive crews for cheaper crews.
Rank and file ATI guys got had in this merger.
Cappy guys brought little to the table, a few 757 (4?) and a bunch of 727's that would eventually go away and lots more pilots than they needed......
So once Cappy is merged into ATI, will you all please learn from this mess?
The next merger will be down right ugly. You must believe that JH wants the Abx contract to die in it.
