In a previous life, part of my company’s corporate uniform was Haggar Sans-a-belt type polyester grey slacks. The waistband was made of very wide elastic, with no belt loops, which was very hot in the summer.
This uniform requirement was simply because Mr. Haggar was on the board of directors of the corporation. It was another example of making employees conform to one’s warped view of how the world should be.
