How long is this TA if ratified and from what date do you calculate the new amendable date? Do you really expect an additional 5-6 years of negotiations beyond this date?
You really think he's that far out of the ball park?? At CAL we are already four years past an amendable date on our current four-year contract. So that's eight years. Look at other contract negotiations in the industry. Are you saying with our management we are more likely to have a new contract before the next amendable date if this TA passes a la Delta??? I'd put my money on at least two-three years past the amendable date for another TA. The RLA just isn't in our favor for anything faster.
