My systems as XJT was "You are a molecule of fuel. Tell me everything I would go through on my way to being used by the engine." And he wouldn't let me draw it out so I had to visualize it in my mind and walk through it that way.

At Skywest the guy took a sheet of paper and divided it up into 3 parts and labeled them Turbine, Prop, Electrical. Then he left for like 15 minutes and I drew out my Prop system, Electrical system and a basic Turbine engine. Then when he came back in he just kinda looked over them and asked a couple things like "what is that?" "What is this?" I guess my drawing wasn't good enough to tell what it was.

Also (being excessive on the studying) I've gone through Section 1 and 2 of the POH and made flashcards of all the little specs of everything in there. Engines, props, A/c dimensions, wing loading (divide weight by wing area), weight limits, Power to weight ratio (divide weight by power), V speeds, CG limits, stuff like that. I've never been asked what the minimum turning radius of a Piper Aztec is but I know it's 36 feet.
Anyway it's not gonna be bad if you know the prop, hydraulic, fuel, and electrical systems. Those are the biggies.
I got an email saying that I cleaned it out man.
