I don't mean those who acknowledge the complex nature of weather patterns and the uncertainty inherent in the analysis of such complex systems; I mean groups that so fiercely deny the possibility of global warming.
The Met Office and the Climatic Research Unit (CRU) at East Anglia University is probably the number one Climate research group in the world. They have clearly stated that there has been no global warming for 16 years.

I don't deny the possibility of MMGW, it is just that there is no real evidence of it. Theories abound though.

It is very obvious that groups like the UN have a great stake in collecting money for many causes, justified or not.

We do know that vast and lengthy periods of climate change happened prior to man's arrival and they will continue.
What part of this is natural and what part may be caused by man is the question many seek to answer.

What we do know is that Earth has been warming for about 15,000 years and this warming has been very kind to humans.
Trying to slice off a decade or three and state an overall trend doesn't mean much against this background.

Theories are just dandy, but if the data does not match they are worthless.
