Well other than the whole comfort factor above the Saab it was a really well designed airplane aerodynamically. I felt like I could fly it like a 172 or maybe an Archer even though it was a swept wing jet. Sure the automation was there but once you kicked all of the shiny stuff off and hand flew it the airplane was a blast.
The Saab is A LOT of fun but I attribute that to the KIND of flying we do not the airplane.

Unfortunately most rj pilots have flown the same plane their whole regional career. I truly feel sorry for them. The Q400 sucked, it felt more like an RJ. You can probably guess what my favorite plane was.
