A little more or less now, but close enough. 5529 on the UAL side and 4478 on the CAL side. Only 50% + 1 vote is needed to pass. Here are some really fun numbers to ponder. The percentages below represent YES votes.
ual 60% / cal 38%.............pass!!
ual 70% / cal 26%.............pass!!
ual 80% / cal 14%.............pass!!
ual 90% / cal 2%..............pass!!
There are 1900+ Airbus pilots at UAL. That's about 35% of the UAL pilot group, and 20% of the combined group. They are receiving 37% raises DOS and $45-65K signing bonuses. (now THAT's some profit sharing!) How many of them will vote NO???
The rest of us UAL guys will vote 2/1 in favor or this agreement by my estimates, which means we will need about 20% of you CAL fellows to make this TA a contract. 1 in 5 of you!!! I'll bet it's closer to 50/50 over there, which will put the overall vote at about a 64% pass. Bottom line, the UAL pilots are running a train on this vote. You may as well lay back and enjoy it, because it is happening...ohhh yeaaah...it's all gooood.
Merry Christmas

You and many other yes voters have made it known how you feel about the ta and why you are voting yes. What scares/disgusts me for this ta, any future contract, and this entire employee group after tomorrow, is what would it take for you and the other yes voters to vote no?
